Marco Ferrari Chef
Chef Marco Ferrari was born in Rome on November 11, 1968 from a humble family of merchants. With the passion for cooking in his heart, transmitted to him by his mother, he decides at first, after having obtained his diploma, to enlist in the Navy. After gaining the rank of non-commissioned officer, he also manages to obtain the pilot license of helicopter specialist. His profession will lead him to embark for several years, and he finds in participating in these countless voyages, including some that also took place in war scenarios, a great opportunity to forge his own character and travel the world. During these expeditions around the globe, he begins to take an interest in the ingredients and culinary cultures with which he inevitably finds himself confronted.
After several years, he decides to leave the Navy to follow his great passion for cooking. A painful choice, but never regretted. 20 years have passed since then, and after 20 years of career in the kitchen the chef has gained a great deal of experience in the field, such as to allow him today to carry out his work with the utmost seriousness and professionalism that could be required. On the other hand, this great passion of him is something that, as we have well understood, is born from the experience in the field and only later does he approach the study and the theory reported in the books.
Of course, not everything has always been a bed of roses, but what work, what art, what passion does not require sacrifice and dedication to be able to mature and come to fruition? Aware of this and aware of his choices, the chef Ferrari has always been determined to go forward with a sword, armed also and above all with the great support of little Luisa, his daughter.
All this led him to the awareness that time must be given value, in fact, as he often reiterates, in his idea of cooking there is the mentality according to which if something is not fun, it does not give any emotions or stimuli, it is not a something vague worth doing.
Today Marco Ferrari works as a Chef consultant, still managing to travel the world with his kitchen to travel for the kitchen and to cook for travel.
